Road construction has begun on our side of 92nd Street. Two-way traffic on 92nd Street between Capitol Drive and Hampton Ave is now one-lane traffic north and south on the east half of 92nd Street. Access to the Northwest parking lot is currently only available by using the Masonic Lodge lot entrance on Marion Street, or the temporary entrance ramp off of 92nd St.
The temporary entrance ramp on 92nd street has been restored, making entrance and exits available for this Sunday Oct. 8th. Please drive slowly as the ramp has a steep downgrade, and several ruts within it.
- Start on Grantosa Drive/Congress Street: Turn south onto 94th Street, and then turn east (left) onto Marion Street. Turn left into the Masonic Lodge lot. Go straight across their parking lot, and you can then enter into the Northwest Baptist lot to park. The concrete barricades separating the Northwest and Masonic Lodge parking lots have been removed to allow for travel between the lots.
It is currently not possible to turn off of 92nd Street onto westbound Marion Street (Marion Street is barricaded on the west side of 92nd Street). However, if construction crews happen to build a bridge from 92nd Street to westbound Marion Street (this is unlikely), you would be able to follow these entrance directions:
- 92nd St Northbound: Heading northbound on 92nd St, visitors should turn left onto Marion Street. Use the 1st entrance on the right-hand side to turn into the Lodge lot. Go straight in the parking lot, and then you can enter into the Northwest Baptist lot to park.
- 92nd St Southbound: Going southbound on 92nd St, visitors should turn right onto Marion Street, then use the 1st entrance on the right-hand side to turn into the Lodge lot. Go straight in the parking lot, and then you can enter into the Northwest Baptist lot to park.
A diagram and images outlining how to enter the parking lot are shown below (click to enlarge):
