At Northwest, we provide many opportunities for our students in grades 7-12 to connect with God, connect with each other, and to grow in their faith. New or visiting students are welcome to participate in any of the programs we offer.
On Sunday mornings, our students meet for Bible Study from 9:00 am to 10:00 am in the Youth Room in the Education Building. Students meet together for announcements and prayer before breaking into Middle and High School groups.
On Wednesday Nights, we encourage our Youth to serve through one of the other ministries that go on at Northwest on Wednesday nights (Food Pantry, TeamKID, Reading For Success, etc). For those who have a lot of homework, we also offer a study space in our Youth Room from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm.
Youth LIFE Groups
Our Youth LIFE Groups meet weekly throughout the school year. These groups are in-home Bible studies where our students can explore the Bible in a comfortable setting while seeking to discover how the Bible applies to their lives today.
Other opportunities such as summer camps, winter retreats, the “30 Hour Famine” (a hunger relief event), the “Mosquito Feed” (a yearly end-of-summer campout) and other get-togethers are offered throughout the year.
