Bring your family and get ready to have fun at the Reading 4 Success Christmas Celebration! We will be gathering in the Fellowship Hall on Wednesday, December 11 at 5:30 PM. We will hear and act out the Christmas story, decorate gingerbread houses, enjoy hot chocolate and tacos, do Christmas crafts and games, and more! RSVP at the table in the foyer. Ladies, join us on Saturday, December 14 for our Woman2Woman Ministry Christmas Party. We will depart from the church at 3:00 PM for caroling at the homes of some of our homebound Senior Saints. Don your most festive apparel, a jacket, and jingle bells if you have them. We will carpool to several homes, returning to the church by dusk. Northwest is collecting the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering. Named in honor of the missionary to China who urged churches to start and to give sacrificially, this offering is collected by fellow believers around the world in support of international missions. 100% of donations made to the LMCO go to missionaries worldwide. If you would like to donate to the LMCO, click the button below or pick up an offering envelope at the Welcome Center.
The missions team invites everyone to a Christmas gathering and potluck-style dinner on Saturday, December 21 at 6:00 PM in the Fellowship Hall. Feel free to bring a dish to pass.
The Lottie Moon Post Office will be open for business on Sunday, December 1, 8, 15, and 22. If you would like to send Christmas cards to other church members and attenders, bring your cards to the Lottie Moon Post Office and instead of buying postage, we ask that you make a donation to the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering. And don’t forget to pick up any Christmas cards that have been sent to you!
Northwest invites you to join us on Tuesday, December 24 at 6:00 PM for our Christmas Eve Candlelight Service. This is a favorite event for our congregation each year! We will sing familiar Christmas hymns, hear the story of Christ’s birth in scripture, and finish the service with a congregational candle lighting ceremony.
